Recognising that the recruitment industry is undergoing significant change, The Recruitment Company set out to create a product that could meet growing industry challenges by incorporating old values with new technology.
Their innovative solution was a combination of video interviewing capabilities, skill testing and good old fashioned specialised recruitment called the Candidate Dashboard.

The product was designed to present a shortlist of candidates in a fashion that provides clients with ease of use; combined with a deep, 3D view of candidates. It works as a web-based solution, generating tailored webpages that feature videos, descriptions and downloadable CVs. By existing on the web, the platform is accessible by both candidates and recruitment clients and can be used anywhere, anytime.

The inclusion of video interviews in the process provides candidates with an ability to showcase another avenue of themselves, which can be particularly useful for those who stand-out better in a personable setting rather than on paper with a CV. Additionally, recruiters can benefit from getting a deeper understanding of candidates that can’t be understood on paper alone. The Candidate Dashboard works to keep recruitment companies relevant by ensuring they offer a service that can’t be replicated elsewhere and is genuinely attractive to both candidates and recruiters.

The innovative design, development and release of the Candidate Dashboard has not only had a transformative effect on The Recruitment Company’s business, but it has also earned them a Product Innovation Award in the Australian Business Awards 2016.
