The Australian Business Award for New Product Innovation [NEW] recognises innovative products and services recently launched to market offering a point of difference from their competitors.
CW-P15 overcomes the shortcomings experienced with traditional evaporative air conditioning operating in humid climates, and offers comfort conditions that are equivalent to, or better than, conventional refrigerated air conditioning. By using a patented counter-flow heat exchanger, the CW-P15 enhances the power of evaporative cooling by supplying air much cooler than traditional evaporative systems, but uniquely makes sure the cool air never comes into direct contact with the evaporative process. Not only can CW-P15 improve the cooling performance of refrigerated equipment, it can extend the life of existing refrigerated systems and achieve vastly reduced cooling costs, whether it is a retrofit or new installation.
Made completely in-house at Seeley’s South Australian manufacturing plant using parts largely manufactured in house as well, this new Climate Wizard product reflects Seeley’s commitment innovation, while embracing vertical integration rather than outsourcing, and actively contributes to the sustainability of local manufacturing and ongoing employment opportunities for Australians.
Designed for commercial and industrial applications, CW-P15 establishes a cooling benchmark for the industry, by combining on the award-winning pedigree of Climate Wizard with a number of innovative engineering and design features.
The CW-P15 delivers outstanding performance whether operating at ground level or at height. The tapered low profile allows the installation to maintain the building aesthetics, and units can be mounted side by side (on either available side) to save on valuable roof space. Installation has also been made easier by automatic set up calibration, as the model dynamically reacts to the static pressure of the installation ductwork, removing the need to critically check the installation process and ensuring that overtime, optimum cooling is achieved.
CW-P15 offers flexible configurations across commercial and industrial applications, and has been designed to take full advantage of environmentally friendly water (designated as a refrigerant R-718) to achieve high quality cooling at high efficiency, at times up to 10 times more efficient than an equivalent capacity refrigerated system. No ozone depleting gases or chemicals are employed in its operation.
The design and construction of the CW-P15 has been engineered to utilise stable recyclable materials throughout, so at the end of life, they can be separated and converted to an alternative use. CW-P15 contributes to environmental improvements in that its use instead of ozone depleting refrigerant systems greatly reduces the ultimate harmful effects of refrigerant gases that leak or are discharged to the atmosphere. Climate Wizard’s exceptionally low power consumption reduces the need for greater power infrastructure and generating capacity, all of which act against the principles of sustainability.
