IDfy was created in anticipation of new legislative parameters surrounding verification of identity, it aims to ensure users are taking ‘reasonable steps’ to identify people. Traditionally, VOI processes required conveyancing professionals to sit down with their clients, collect all the necessary documents, leave their office to photocopy and/or scan the documents and then physically file the copies. IDfy is designed to eliminate the need for any of the physical/administrative work by allowing the practitioner to simply use their iPhone or iPad to take photos of the client and their documents. In this way, IDfy aims to give the practitioner complete control over the VOI process; they can easily conduct VOI without relying on third party agents and they can remain with their client throughout the process since the VOI can be completed entirely on a mobile device.
IDfy has been developed to be as intuitive and secure as possible. It has a number of features to ensure that it is user friendly, promotes compliance with legislation and gives practitioners peace of mind that their clients’ sensitive information is securely stored. It is compatible with iPhone and iPad’s running iOS 8.4 and above, stores VOI reports for 9 years, is password protected and encrypts data for extra protection.
The applications’ focus on providing end users with cost-effective, standardised and documented VOI processes has seen 1,657 VOI orders placed through the application so far. InfoTrack have been awarded with a New Innovation award in the Australian Business Awards 2016 for IDfy.

Initiatives can include but are not limited to projects, programs, processes, systems, technologies, developments, ventures and undertakings.
Entries are assessed utilising a robust and dynamic framework to ensure that the assessment process is pertinent and objective. The World Business Awards Framework (WBA Framework) is utilised as a structured model of assessment that enables the participating organisations to be benchmarked against world class performance standards. The Framework consists of specialised assessment modules pertaining to the evaluation criteria for each of the award categories. The criteria and sub-criteria provide a robust set of requirements that are used as the methodology for benchmarking and learning among the participating organisations.
